In August 1946 Joseph Micelli Sr. and his son Ned Micelli founded the All metal Chocolate Mold Co. Production was Metal chocolate molds.

By the mid 1970's the company started producing plastic thermoform molds, followed by entry into the production of plastic injection molds.

Today Micelli Chocolate Mold Company is the only North American based manufacturer of injection polycarbonate chocolate molds.
