Shape development in our USA plant combines 60 years of experience with state of the art 3D technology to develop shapes for our customers. Each shape is scrutinized to ensure not only aesthetic appeal but functionality in the manufacturing process. When we design a shape, we take into consideration the complete chocolate manufacturing process; starting with chocolate type, ingredients, inclusions, fillings, depositing method, vibration methods, cooling systems, demolding methods, take off belt transportation, packaging infeed, packaging type and shipping methods.
Our engineering team designs or reviews every mold construction layout to incorporate performance and longevity into the architecture of the mold. Considering elements such as rib placement, radii, intersections, shape orientation, drive pin engagement to name a few.
Our tooling is manufactured using the right equipment for the job. Our modern CNC machining centers are integrated seamless with our shape development and engineering department.
Our production department utilizes modern material handling, material preparation and injection molding equipment with closed loop control systems to ensure consistent production throughout the entire run of a mold order.
Our mold and carrier configurations span across the broad spectrum of sizes/configurations to suit the multitude of standard chocolate processing equipment available today as well as standard sizes for equipment from decades ago.
Tool storage organizes the tooling in a safe and organized fashion to allow easy access should a re-order be needed. We have some tooling stored for over 40 years.
